2024 HEREFORD ZONE FUTSAL - YOUTH
Presented by the Hereford Zone Recreation & Parks Council and Baltimore County Recreation & Parks
What: Futsal is quickly becoming one of the most popular indoor sports throughout the world and is back in the Hereford Zone for its Fourth season! Futsal uses a smaller size, weighted ball which helps develop individual ball skills in soccer players. Teams use smaller rosters to allow all players numerous touches on the ball and a smaller playing field which increases quickness, agility and overall player movement. Futsal is an excellent way to improve younger player’s confidence on the ball and overall skill level.
Who: Open to boys and girls 2nd thru 8th Grade.
When: Registration will open on Sunday November 12th and close at midnight on Sunday January 7th. Cost will be $80 per player. On-line registration will be available thru the Stone Alley website: https://www.stonealley.com/program/HerefordZone/group/Futsal **Coaches discount available. Please contact the HZ Futsal chairman for more info prior to registering. Returning Coaches will be given first priority!
Where: All Games will be held at either the Sparks Elem School Gym located @ 601 Belfast Rd, Sparks, MD 21152 or the Hereford Middle School Gym located @ 712 Corbett Rd, Monkton, MD 21111 on Saturday’s and Sunday’s.
