ANNOUNCING SPRING 2010 TRAVEL BASEBALL TRYOUTS

Team Age Brackets: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19
Age determination date: April 30, 2010

The travel leagues our teams participate in require that our players play in a recreation league in one of the Hereford Zone Recreation Council Programs (Seventh District, Prettyboy, Sparks, Fifth District).
All players interested in trying out should send an email to the appropriate coach that includes the player’s name, birth date, and the rec council program they are registered with.

Team tryouts for ages 7-14 will be held at the times and locations shown below. See the registration form linked below which must be filled out, signed by the player and guardian, and turned in at the tryout before a player can participate in tryouts. Players should bring soft soled shoes (sneakers) and cleats to tryouts.

The Hereford Travel Baseball program is a part time travel program. Games are primarily played on weekends starting in mid April and ending in early July. Teams typically participate in at least two tournaments that each span two weekends with play on Saturdays and Sundays. Practices are normally held on Friday evenings during the recreation league season and other days as well after that season ends. Players are expected to provide their own batting helmet and bat. Program questions should be directed to the appropriate coach.

Participation Fees (not due until final roster selection):
Ages 7/8: $165 Ages 9-14: $215

The season for the 15-19 age group will begin in early May and run through July. Those interested in playing in this age group should send the chair person an email including your name, date of birth, and phone number.
